Historic Books & Biographies

When you cannot find birth, death, and marriage records in Ancestry Library Edition or My Heritage, where do you look?

My favorite Historic Book databases are Internet Archives, Google Books, Open Library, and JSTOR.  These are all free and available from home, but each one has some unique tools for printing, saving, and sharing books.  Instruction will include how to search successfully with genealogy tools.

Bring your research questions, family trees, and papers.  Individual assistance will be provided.

Create your own digital library when you download these books.  Suggestions will include how not to overload your device with large books, locating the correct pages within a book, and how to print pages needed for your family research.

Visitors are welcome.  You do not need a Wyoming Library card to attend.

The Learning Lab features 9 new PCs which you may use or you may bring your own device.
